Adam is a dedicated father, husband and representative. He grew up in the neighboring city of DeSoto and has been married to his high-school sweetheart for more than 12 years. In 2013, they settled in District 7, where they’re now raising their 10-year-old daughter.

Adam attended the Texas Culinary Academy in Austin, and worked in the hospitality industry in New York City and Dallas before transitioning into teaching culinary arts at Dallas ISD’s Wilmer-Hutchins and Skyline high schools.

He has been part of his neighborhood crime watch, served as chair of the Dallas Green Alliance, been a member of the Davis Garden TIF Board, and has been an appointee to the DISD District 9 Community Task Force and Police Chief Hall’s Community Task Force.

He also currently serves on the Government Performance and Financial Management, Environment and Sustainability, Transportation and Infrastructure committees, as well as the Ad Hoc Committee on Judicial Nominations.
